This pretty gray barn is another we pass on the way to town. I happened to catch it on a foggy day when the sky and the barn seem to reflect each other.

Pretty snaps of a charming barn! I love the Dutch-style stall doors. Would love to see the horses that call this barn home :) It certainly sits all pretty up on its own hill. I really like your first shot(upper left)of the end of the barn in your collage. The snow is a treat!
I love to see changes in ugly things--whether it's new grass after the brown of winter, a free beat-up dresser that becomes a beauty after a few coats of paint, or a life once in shambles that's worth living again. One of my favorite quotes in the Bible is Isaiah 61:3, specifically how God will "give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." Now that's a life with meaning!
I LOVE barns. I wondered for a long time if it was just me. Back when I painted, I included a lot of barns. These are great examples!
