It's a gray, rainy day.
Why not stay in bed?
I brought you a tray full of delicious goodies!
We're using my Grandma's Dessert Rose dishes, of course.
There's healthy, crunchy, low-fat, home made granola--Mom's recipe.
Milk for your granola.
Fresh fruit: peaches, blueberries and strawberries.
Let me fluff up the pillows for you!
Now enjoy your hot beverage as you linger!
What's that? Oh, those little guys?
Pretty hard to sleep in, isn't it?
Good thing they're cute!
A girl can dream, can't she?

I want to be a guest at your house! Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteGreat breakfast in bed photos! The boys are cuties!

Oh, wouldn't it be nice to have breakfast in bed! Those little cuties wouldn't bother me at all.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute and so are you!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Cherish those little angels...soon they'll be off to college & you'll wonder where the time went. Ask me how I know. ;-)
ReplyDelete♥ your desert rose dishes! Don't put them in the microwave or a hot, hot dishwasher. My friend ruined her grandmother's set...crazed the finish on them. They were not made to withstand today's modern conveniences.
My grandmother had the same ones. Sure wish someone had saved them for ME!
fondly,
Rett
OK... I came here from Tablescape Thursday, and I could not, for the life of me, make my comment post.
ReplyDeleteComing back today, I can. I think your breakfast in bed is so cute.
Love the desert rose dishes. I've seen them out shopping at antique malls and have always thought they were so pretty. Lucky you!
Luckier still... I would say blessed instead... to have such sweet little "bed elves".
What time do you start serving or do you have the cute little waiters serve? I love the desert rose pattern.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast in bed sounds like a good idea to me. All I need is someone to fix and serve!
ReplyDeletePretty dishes! My parents got that same set when they got married in the late '60s.
