Our Adventure: Iowa to Missouri
Last Friday after four grueling days of packing, sorting, loading and cleaning, we left our home in Iowa and drove south to Missouri where my husband's parents live. We've spent four days here and are ready for the next leg of our adventure tomorrow. I'd like to log our trip, so here's a map of the first leg of our journey. Because to go west one must first go south!
Tomorrow we're hoping to make it somewhere in the middle of Nebraska. And I might just whip out the camera to try to keep this log a little bit exciting! I attempted to do that a couple times here, but forgot that my camera's memory card was in my computer. Oops!
Here are a couple shots of what we've been up to at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
Josiah loves to 'talk' on the phone. He's into everything and you better watch out or you'll find him on top of the table eating the salt.
The boys enjoyed talking with great-grandma when they weren't playing in the creek, riding their bikes, helping Grandma water her plants or playing with toys.
We got to go on a canoe trip while we were here! Josiah loved playing at the water's edge while his biggest brother swam ...
... and his middle brother waded.
To read more about our canoe trip, see yesterday's post.
So here we go! We'll be on the road for about a week. We'll keep you posted!

I LOVE the picture of the Envoy because the picture makes it look so short and fat that I thought that you had a different car. Makes me feel better about looking short and fat. :)
